Adventure stay

Here you can book your Adventure Stay. This booking site is intended for Icelandia staff only, and a reservation is required to secure your stay. We are offering you this opportunity so you can experience the new product firsthand and share your feedback, helping us refine and improve the Adventure Stay before it becomes available to future customers. Please read through the below guidelines before booking.

The following rules apply:

• You must leave the hut in the same condition you found it (or better). This includes changing the bedding, cleaning the hut, and yes — emptying the toilet.
• No smoking and no pets at any time.
• Remove your shoes before stepping onto the wooden floor.

Other things to consider:

• Please contact Adventure Ground before your arrival at +354 626 2600. You will also need to pick up clean sheets there before heading to your Adventure Stay igloo.
• We kindly ask that you arrive before 5 pm so we do not have to rely on staff outside regular operating hours.
• In your confirmation e-mail from your booking you will receive the PIN code to open the igloo.
• Please watch the instruction video you received with your booking confirmation before you arrive.
• The hut accommodates two adults only.
• Feel free to use the free Wi-Fi and the Bluetooth sound system.
• Be mindful of the entrance door — it is smaller than a standard door.
• There are three control panels in the hut: one by the door, one in the kitchenette, and one above the bed. Please read the instructions on each panel carefully before using them.
• Do not put anything other than liquids down the sink.
• You must sit down when using the toilet. Space around the toilet is limited, so we recommend using a restroom before arriving at the hut.
• You may store your luggage under the bed.
• There is a cold storage compartment at the foot of the bed for drinks or food. Feel free to use it but remember to empty it before leaving.
• The fishing hole may also be used to cool a drink, although the space is limited to one bottle.

To do before leaving:

• Leave it like it was when you came!
• Change the bedding (sheets, pillowcases, etc.).
• Replace the toilet bag (spare bags are in the cupboards).
• Replace the trash bag.
• Bring the used trash and toilet bag with you and dispose of them in the designated area at Adventure Ground.
• Wash all used tableware and dry it.
• Vacuum cleaner is located under the bed. If the battery is low, then please plug it in (charger is under the bed as well).
• Cleaning cloths and vibes are in the cabinet. Do inform staff at Adventure ground if dirty or low on supplies.
• Turn off all lights before departure (switch located on the control panel next to the door).
• Finally… remember to answer our feedback survey after your stay.
