 Want to connect with nature? Ditch the crowds and immerse yourself in the striking beauty of an outlet glacier while you paddle a kayak along the Sólheimjökull Glacier Lagoon. This exhilarating tour starts with meeting your expert kayaking guide in the Sólheimjökull Glacier parking lot. Your guide will equip you with a dry suit and demonstrate the basic techniques needed to manoeuvre the kayak. 

The sit-on-top kayaks used for this tour are easy to steer, and previous kayaking experience is unnecessary. As you push from the shore, you will enter a world of an iceberg-filled lagoon in tranquil water. Appreciate the quiet and still water, with icebergs floating by.  The spellbinding glacial landscape and calm waters will make you feel like you have been transported into another world. It can be a meditative experience. 

Your guide will lead you around the glacier and safely between icebergs to admire these natural wonders from a perspective that can only be seen from the water. After a period of kayaking along the still water of the lagoon, you will head back to shore with unforgettable memories.
