Before we head to the glacier for the tour, we need to get everyone fitted with the equipment, crampons and harnesses. The crampons need to be adjusted to each person's shoe size, so it is important that people arrive 20 minutes before so everyone is ready at the departure time.
We always recommend to book as soon as you are ready especially if you have a strict travel schedule or a large group. It is easy to change or cancel 24 hours before departure by emailing us (firstname.lastname@example.org). Tours can also be purchased the day of as long as there are spaces available.
For a comfortable experience during the tour, we recommend wearing long-sleeve clothing, preferably made from quick-drying material, to prevent your skin from getting irritated by the dry suit. Avoid wearing anything bulky as it might restrict your movement and make it harder to put on the dry suit. Keep in mind that you will be walking to the lagoon and paddling during the tour, which is likely to keep you warm. As it's a summer tour, overheating can be a concern. Furthermore, extra socks could be beneficial in case your feet get wet during the tour.
